Victoria Bonebakker

Victoria Bonebakker has been the Associate Director of the Maine Humanities Council since 1997. She created Literature & Medicine: Humanities at the Heart of Health Care® that year, and since then has overseen its expansion into 26 states and the creation of two Literature & Medicine anthologies. In previous incarnations she taught elementary school French in Washington D.C. and San Francisco, practiced law in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and taught law at UCLA Law School.
